2005 EUROPEAN TOUR REVIEWS

July 5th, 2005 - Hartwall Arena - Helsinki, Finland

Konsta Alander:

Hi Rob,

I just wanted to let you know that yesterday's Sabbath concert was awesome.  They played the same let list as usual including the "Sleeping Village" part as an intro to "Children Of The Grave".   The band was in the mood.  They played very well and Ozzy was singing better than during the last 30 years.  He didn't sing any noticeable bad notes and played the harmonica very well.

It must be true that Ozzy now has better medicines because his motor function & physical abilities  were something very different than we have been used to seeing.  He moved more like a teenager than grandfather from the elderhouse.  He introduced Bill Ward several times during the set, and of course, before the encore and after it.  Ozzy worshipped Iommi as usual and even introduced the keyboard player Adam Wakeman, who was very visibly on stage and played rhythm guitar during "Paranoid".

I can't say anything bad about anything that happened during the whole show.  So it's very hard to say which songs were the highlights.  If I must say something, then maybe the band played tightest on songs like "The Wizard", "Symptom Of The Universe" /"Sweet Leaf"/"Electric Funeral" medley, "Into The Void" and "Black Sabbath".  It was a really hot show and every song was like another highlight. It was my 7th time seeing Black Sabbath and definitely the best!!!
